Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms set out how you may use SnapZal, the macOS app, and the website snapzal.com (the "Service"), provided by DevBrothers (representative: Junhyuk Choi; "we", "us").

By downloading or using the Service or buying a paid license, you agree to these terms.

SnapZal captures and records your Mac screen, keeps the results stacked in a corner of the screen, and lets you drag them into other apps. The features you can use for free, the features that require a paid license (Pro), and their prices are listed on the pricing page (snapzal.com/en/pricing/) before sales begin.

We may improve or change features. If we significantly reduce or remove a feature included in a paid license, we will tell you in advance.

4. Paid licenses and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, taxes, receipts, billing questions, and refunds, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

License types and prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Prices are the amounts shown at checkout, and depending on where you live, sales tax or VAT may be included or added.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you will not be charged again, and you can keep using the license until the end of the paid period.

If we offer a lifetime license, it is paid once and lets you use SnapZal Pro with no time limit for as long as we offer SnapZal, including future updates.

5. Refunds

If you ask within 14 days of a purchase or renewal payment, we refund it in full, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy for details.

6. Your license to use the app

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SnapZal for personal or work purposes. We own the copyright and other intellectual property in the app and the website.

Paid features are available after you sign up and sign in. Keep your account and sign-in method secure, and do not let others use them.

8. Your content

Captures, recordings, and edited images you make with SnapZal are stored on your Mac and are not sent to us unless you export or share them yourself. You own this content and are responsible for it.

Screen captures and recordings can include other people’s work, personal information, or voices. You are responsible for getting any consent and rights you need to capture and use them.

9. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it works without errors on every Mac setup or with every other app.

Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for indirect or special damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer protection laws give you.

10. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that are less favorable to you. If you do not agree to the changes, you can stop using the Service.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you by email; otherwise it will be settled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
